Q. For how many years has your company been in business?
A. Chocolate Covered Company had been in business for over five years and is continuously growing.
Q. Are your berries sold all year long or are they seasonal?
A. You can find our delicious & fresh hand-picked berries almost all season long except in the months of December and January when heavy rains destroy most of the harvest in California.
Q. Where are your berries bought from during non-seasonal months?
A. During those months Chocolate Covered Company usually ships its berries from the southern cost of Chile in South America or sometimes from the East Coast.
Q. Are the berries ever stored in the freezer to be used at a later time?
A. Our vine-ripened berries are always fresh & hand-picked to provide the best quality possible for our customers. We NEVER serve frozen products.
Q. How long do your strawberries last?
A. Our strawberries last 24 to 48 hours from the minute they are shipped. Please note that if you do store the strawberries in the refrigerator they usually last up to 3 days.
Q. I ordered some strawberries and when they arrived they were all watered-out. What's wrong with the strawberries?
A. Do not worry everything is ok. The strawberries watering-out, usually is a sign of how fresh the berries are. Do not forget strawberries are 70% water & releasing of its water is a sign of freshness.
Q. What qualities make your berries exceptional?
A. All our vine-ripened berries are hand-picked providing only the freshest product in the market. Mixed with our imported delicious chocolate, our berries induce an outcome of quality that is by far the best.
Q. Why are your berries high-priced?
A. We provide only the best quality products. Every one of our strawberry is hand-dipped and hand-crafted. Our imported Belgium chocolate is the best tasting chocolate by far. Quality of taste is our number one goal.

Q. What if your products did not meet up to your expectation?
A. Here at the Chocolate Covered Company, we are so proud of our products that if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we will be more than happy to replace the order free of charge. All we ask for is you pay for the shipping cost. If still we did not meet your expectations, we will refund the full amount of price not including shipping.
Q. Are there any preservatives, additives, chemicals or anything else added to your products?
A. Our products are 110% free of additives or any preservatives. We only use the freshest products available that day.
Q. Do you provide sugar-free chocolate for your products?
A. Of course we do. We have many different products that are sugar-free or can be prepared sugar-free specially for your order that day. Do keep in mind most fruits do contain its own sugar from nature.
Q. How are you able to provide shipment nationally without spoiling your products and guaranteeing a presentable condition?
A. Our products are shipping with next-day overnight express from Fed Ex. We also use a grid-lock sealed foam shipping box which keeps the order under cold temperature guaranteeing your order will arrive fresh to you the next day before 3pm (unless ordered on Friday).
